Hello! I am sorry I have to write in English, but my Russian is very bad. I will be happy if someone responds to me in Russian or English , so the question is about the Krainev competition and how objective is the jury there? I will be glad to take any information you can give me or recommendations (I have already read what is in the website of the competition) Thank you ! :-)

Hello, there are always different opinions about objectiveness of a competion depending on whether you are a winner or a loser. Anyway, Krainev is great musician so it' s worth trying. And I know some of the winners of his competition - they are also great. Good luck!

I think, if you play good, you should try to participate :lol: My teacher said my always not to do it, but if you see, almost all winners are very good pianists and some of them have already an international career (not because of this competition of course...).

so I think, it is more or less objectiv. that depends also from the taste of some jurors and not from their fairness.. also I think, that Krainev made this competition to find out really good young pianists, which would study afterwards in his class...??...so... may be, you could try...

anyway we can never know, which competition would be objectiv or fair... the only way to find it out, to go to participate :-)
