    Christopher Falzone, piano
    Described by critics as a "brilliant and intense" young pianist "with a profound love and understanding of music," Christopher Falzone has received critical acclaim and numerous national and international awards for his performances and compositions-improvisations.
    Mr. Falzone is a recipient of the prestigious Gilmore Young Artist Award, which singles out the most exceptional pianists in the United States and which was highlighted on PBS TV, as well as a recipient of an Award from the Davidson Institute"to recognize the life-work of genius."
    Mr. Falzone is an outstanding Winner (First Prizes and Gold Medals) International Piano Competitions "Emil Gilels 2009"-Odessa, "Ettore Pozzoli 2009"-Seregno, Martha Argerich: « LES VIRTUOSES DU FUTUR 2009», not only the First Prize and Gold medals , but also the Audience Prizes in San Jose, California, at the Russian Music International and at the "Premio Liszt 2009". His long list of competition awards includes First Prizes at the Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev, MTNA Yamaha and Baldwin, Disney, as well as top prizes at various international piano competitions such as the Young Concert Artists International Auditions, Stravinsky Awards, Enescu (including the Enescu Interpretation Prize), Parnassos (including Liszt Prize), Wideman, Sorantin, Corpus Christi, Isabel Scionti, "Rodolfo Caporalli" Sulmona, an outstanding Virtuoso performance award at the Bosendorfer USASU, and last September he performed in the winner's marathon at the Busoni Festival and Competition in Bolzano.
    He has frequently appeared on television and radio programs nationally and abroad, as well as having been an artist-in-residence on numerous occasions.
    Mr. Falzone began studying piano at age four and composing at age six. At age eight he gave his orchestral debut in Los Angeles with Disney’s Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, where he gave an extraordinary performance of Grieg's Piano Concerto which was broadcasted on national television. Two years later, he returned with Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 2 at the Hollywood Bowl, and since then he has been highly regarded as one of the premiere young pianists of today having appeared in concert with Michael-Tilson Thomas in Los Angeles, Leonard Slatkin in Chicago, in tribute of his teacher, Leon Fleisher in Washington D.C, in a New York telecast in Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall, and on nearly every continent as soloist with orchestras including the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra, the "I Pomeriggi Musicali" di Milano, the Amadeus Symphony in Mexico, the "Mihai Jora" Philharmonic, the New Japan Philharmonic, New Millenium Spain Festival, Transylvanian Philharmonic, Pittsburgh Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Silicon Valley Symphony, and more.
    Other recent solo and orchestra appearances include the Odessa Philarmonia Hall and the Odessa State A.V. Nezhdanova Musical Academy, Palazzo dei Capitani and "Teatro Ventidio Basso" in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, San Pedro Auditorium and Planetarium Hall in Monterrey, Mexico, at the KAWAI piano recitals in Germany, at the Auditorium Prince Rainier III and the Salle des Variйtйs in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, at the Odessa Philarmonia Hall and Academy of Music, the Zurich Hochschule der Kuenste and Winterthur Konservatorium-Konzertsaal in Switzerland, Royal Dublin Society in Ireland, Opйra Bastille in Paris, at the Wroclaw Philharmonia in Poland, the Monteverdi Conservatory, Haydn Concert hall and Teatro Cristallo in Bolzano, Italy,inthe Auditorium dell'Annunziata in Sulmona, the Civic Teatre in Varallo Sesia (Italy), The Petite Trianon Theater and the California Theater in San Jose, California, the Palau de Musica in Barcelona, Spain, the Cultural Center Conde Duque in Madrid, Spain, the Romanian Athenaeum, Radio Hall and National Museum of Arts in Bucherest, Romania.
    Mr.Falzone is frequently invited to perform in international festivals such as the Gilmore, the "Virtuosi" Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia, Ravinia, Banff , Chopin Festival in Washington D.C, and the Hilton Head Chamber Music Festival with Christopher O'Riley. He has performed on concert series such as the Dame Myra Hess Memorial, the Steinway Society, the Kawai Konzerte in Germany, at the Swiss Embassy in Washington D.C, Millenium Park and the Cultural Center in Chicago, Avery Fisher Hall, the 92nd St. Y, Suntory Hall, the Isaac Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian Institute, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Kentucky Center as an artist-in residence on the Gheens Great Expectations.
    Mr. Falzone has been awarded as an enthusiastic and dedicated chamber musician, and he was selected by Isaac Stern to perform at the Isaac Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall in 2001.
    Mr. Falzone graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia with the Festorazzi Prize in piano performance, where he studied for five years with Leon Fleisher and Claude Frank and with Gary Graffman .
