1. не согласен:
"на выходе" - мул (гибрид осла и кобылы). и лошак.
В искусстве - также есть "мулы и лошаки".

2. Понятно, что лично Паваротти к сему "скрещиванию муфлонов" - никоим боком. Потому и... "поржал/поглумился".
